GIS days at the VU
ARCHON organises a GIS course at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam from 12-15 September for graduate and post-graduate archaeology students. The course will consist of a two-day introductory workshop in ArcGIS on 12-13 September, a practical session on 14 September where you can bring your own data and discuss your project with teachers and other students, and a one-day open seminar on 15 September, where researchers from the Netherlands will present their on-going GIS projects. The course will be taught by Walter Laan (University of Leiden), Jitte Waagen (University of Amsterdam) and Philip Verhagen (Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam).
You can earn up to 3 EC by attending this course, writing a written report and processing literature.
