Farewell Symposium prof. Henny Groenendijk – Inclusive Archaeology – 13 September 2019 (partly in Dutch)

Afscheidssymposium prof. Henny Groenendijk – Inclusieve Archeologie

Farewell symposium prof. Henny Groenendijk – Inclusive Archaeology

One of the pillars in Henny Groenendijk’s archaeology is the realization of connection with the general public, shared responsibility and co-creation. This means not only that members of the public participate in archaeological projects, but also that archaeologists dare to share responsibilities. In this symposium we explore the concept of Inclusive Archaeology: how can we involve more people with archaeology and how can archaeology become more relevant for society?
