Publishing Tips For Early Career Researchers – online!

Though publishing your work is very appealing, it can seem a daunting process. Where to start? How to approach this? Do I publish part of my work now or all of it later? And what are the implications for me of open access publications instead of traditional publishing?

This workshop on publishing and publication strategies is aimed at RMA and PhD students and attempts to address some of these issues.

Preliminary Program:

10.00-10.45 –  Session 1: Academic publishing guidelines

10.45-11.00 – Coffee/tea break

11.00-11.45 – Session 2: Mini-workshop Mini-workshop ‘writing and publishing your thesis’ by Dr. Sasja van der Vaart-Verschoof. 

11.45-12.30 – Session 3: Graduate publishing (KLEOS, Intersection and Tijdschrift Mediterrane Archeologie), view from the Editorial Board

12.30-13.30 – Lunch break

13.30-15.45 – Workshop ‘Outreach’ from the board of De Focus. 

 

Credits: 1 EC, preparatory ‘outreach’ assignment, more information will follow.
