Geoarchaeology Working Group
The Geoarchaeology Working Group is an interdisciplinary network of Archon members engaged at the interface between archaeology and the geosciences.
On this page, we will post announcements about events and other relevant news about geological and palaeoenvironmental applications in archaeology. Furthermore, we will organise events specifically for the Archon membership.
News
- The Past Socio-Environmental Systems Workshop (PASES 2020) for early career researchers scheduled for November 2020 in La Serena Chile has been postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but a substitute program has been organized online between the 9th and 11th of November 2020 (vPASES 2020).
- A series of monthly palynology short-talks have been organized by the BES Palaeoecology Group and the AASP-TPS.
