PhD curriculum

In the Netherlands PhD students of the Faculty of Humanities are required to become a member of a research school where they have to enroll in around 5-10 credits of education annually. If you are a PhD student in Archaeology or a related field of study at one of the universities in the Netherlands, we gladly welcome you to become a member.

You can register at ARCHON if your supervisor or department agrees with your choice. Please note that you have to apply for membership before September 30th of each year. As a PhD student you are encouraged to come up with their own ideas for education, workshops or conferences.
