On November 16th and 17th 2023 De Reuvensdagen, the national archaeological congress of the Netherlands, is held in Hoorn. In order to connect young academic scholars with archaeological companies and contribute to closing the gap between universities and contract archaeology you are invited to present new and ongoing PhD research during one of the sessions. Every stage of research is welcomed, from research proposals all the way through to preliminary results. Finished studies are not considered. The idea of the session is a 10 minute pitch and a question directed towards the archaeological community. While the official language of the congress is Dutch, presentations can be given in English as well as Dutch. NB: registrations for the PhD session are closed. Refund: Note that ARCHON offers to compensate the registration costs for ARCHON members that want to attend the congress (50%) and for members that will present during the congress (100%).

Credits: ARCHON members can receive 1 ECT for attending the conference and or 1) present during the PhD session, or 2) handing in a reflection report afterwards.
